Join us for the Colburn Park Trad Music Festival, a vibrant celebration of traditional music taking place over the weekend of July 31 to August 1, 2026. The festival features immersive jam sessions and workshops designed for both enthusiasts and newcomers. Friday evening will kick off with jam sessions in Colburn Park (time TBA) and a lively Contra Dance. On Saturday, from 5-7 PM, enjoy more jam sessions at Salt Hill, with an optional dinner!
Participants can engage in hands-on workshops throughout Saturday, focusing on learning tunes, practicing ensemble skills, and performing together under the guidance of experienced faculty. Sessions are open to all instruments and are tailored to attendees with basic playing skills. On Sunday, choose from diverse sessions, including a harpers circle, an Irish tune jam, a slow jam, and more, culminating in an open-band family dance.
