Abstract Ceramic Sculptures Saturday, July 26 (1 session) | 10 am-3 pm Instructor: Dan Falby In this one-day workshop AVA exhibiting artist Dan Falby will demonstrate his dynamic technique for creating abstract ceramic sculptures. By tossing and dropping meticulously prepared clay slabs, Falby invites gravity to shape his work. He will take us through each aspect of his process: making slabs, building and altering forms, firing strategies, and glazing methods. Over the course of the day, Falby will share his creative approach, influences, and considerations for working intuitively with clay.
