EMG research study sign-up

Details:

The title of the study is, “Reliability of EMG-driven Robotic Response- A Pilot Study.”
The purpose of this study is to determine the reliability of using EMG signals (created from a person contracting their thigh muscles) to alert a robotic arm to aid with an activity. If you are a male or female 18 years old and over and able to perform low-impact exercises (e.g., walking, squatting, swimming, cycling, and rowing), you may be eligible to participate in this research study. Your participation will require completing multiple repetitions of a sit to stand task with and without assistance from a robotic arm. Your participation would be required for one test session, lasting approximately two hours. Your participation in this study would be voluntary.
Please contact Roger Kollock at 918-631-2926 or by email at roger-kollock@utulsa.edu if you are interested in participating in this research study.
