Community Folk Art Center

The Community Folk Art Center, Inc. (CFAC) is a cultural and artistic hub dedicated to promoting and developing artists of the African Diaspora. Its mission is to celebrate cultural and artistic pluralism through collecting, exhibiting, teaching, and interpreting visual and expressive arts. CFAC offers public programming including exhibitions, film screenings, gallery talks, workshops, and studio art courses in dance and ceramics. It is a unit of the Department of African American Studies at Syracuse University, serving as a center for artistry, creativity, and cultural expression in Syracuse and beyond.
