The Children's Museum in Easton (CME) is a non-profit educational, cultural, and social learning center dedicated to inspiring a lifelong love of learning through hands-on play for children and families, with a primary focus on children ages 1-8. Located in a historic Old Fire House in North Easton, Massachusetts, the museum offers three floors of interactive exhibits and over 100 programs and classes designed to stimulate curiosity and motivate learning. CME also provides outreach programs, delivering hands-on learning experiences to early learners in partnership with schools, PTOs, and community organizations. The museum emphasizes the critical importance of play for child development, fostering physical, cognitive, and emotional strengths, as well as higher-level skills like critical thinking and problem-solving. They offer various activities including a STEAM lab, a Space Station exhibit, and a music area, and also host events, field trips, and birthday parties. CME is committed to ensuring all children have access to the benefits of play, with programs designed to meet educational standards and initiatives to reduce barriers for underserved families.
