Acting Camp for Kids (ages 7-11)

Check out our exciting summer break theater series for kids! If you have always wanted to try performing, but didn’t know how to start, this is your chance. We will go over some theater basics and get comfortable performing for a group. Wear comfortable clothing, and bring your willingness to be a little silly and try something new!

Session descriptions:

Session 1: Theater Games and Improv
In this session we will use theater games and ice breakers to get comfortable with our voice and our bodies and practice diction, breathing, and movement. We will also use improv games to learn to work together and have fun!
Session 2: Perform for an Audience
Participants will perform in front of a group, using short poems read with emotion and inflection.
