The Nancy Kay Holmes Branch Library, located at 1032 Green Ridge Street in Scranton, PA, is a historic branch of the Scranton Public Library system. Originally established in 1891 as the Green Ridge Library, it is recognized as the first public library in Scranton and was renamed in 2010 to honor the late Nancy Kay Holmes, a community activist and former councilwoman. Following extensive renovations in early 2025 that improved accessibility and energy efficiency, the branch offers a wide selection of books, magazines, DVDs, and CDs, along with specialized programming for children and adults.
