Knitting Group

Join us for a creative June filled with art and relaxation at the Tamaqua Art Center! Every Wednesday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM, we invite you to participate in our Knitting Group and **Pick & Paint Wednesdays**.

In the Knitting Group, bring your knitting, crochet, or embroidery projects and craft alongside fellow fiber art enthusiasts. We ask attendees to sign up in advance for headcount purposes and suggest a $5 donation to support the Tamaqua Art Center. Please check our Facebook for updates in case of inclement weather.

Simultaneously, you can unleash your creativity in our ceramics studio with **Pick & Paint Wednesdays**. Choose a bisque-fired ceramic piece from our inventory and bring it to life with glaze—all without the mess of wet clay! This hands-on workshop, on the 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th of June, is perfect for beginners and creatives of all ages. Your finished piece will be fired in our kiln, resulting in a durable, food-safe item to display or use at home.

Whether you choose to knit or paint, these sessions offer a fantastic opportunity to unwind, create, and connect with others in a supportive environment!
