Join us for "Books & Barkers at McBride," where certified therapy dogs will be available this summer to help children aged 5–12 improve their reading skills in a supportive and judgement-free environment. The event will take place on Mondays: June 8 & 22 and July 13 & 27, from 3:00–5:00 pm in the second-floor community room. Children can reserve a 15-minute one-on-one time slot with a therapy dog to boost their confidence, fluency, and motivation, especially beneficial for reluctant or shy readers. A staircase and elevator are accessible for your convenience.
