Join us on August 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for "Living Craft Saturday: Back to School" at the museum’s historic grounds. This exciting event, open to the public with regular admission fees (free for museum members), invites you to explore the differences between 1820s education and today’s school system. Participate in various activities such as printing an ad for schoolbooks, testing your knowledge with historic education trivia, and tackling challenges posed by our teacher. Additionally, during Summer Scout Day, both Girl Scouts and Scouting America members can earn multiple merit badges while enjoying the fun. Interested scouts and groups are encouraged to register ahead of time. Don’t miss this engaging and educational day!
