South Austin Donor Center

Join us for blood donation events at the South Austin Donor Center and Flatonia Community in Downtown Flatonia. Donating whole blood is vital, as it consists of a pint of blood that is separated into components like red cells, plasma, and platelets for local hospital transfusions. We need approximately 200 donors daily to meet community needs. Each appointment lasts about 45 minutes to an hour, with the actual donation taking 15-35 minutes, depending on whether you’re donating whole blood or double red cells.
