South Austin Donor Center

Join us for a vital Whole Blood donation event at the South Austin Donor Center or the Austin Municipal Court's Multi-Purpose Room. Donating whole blood involves giving a pint of blood, which is then separated into essential components—red cells, plasma, and platelets—used for local hospital transfusions. We aim to see around 200 donors each day to meet the community's needs. Whether you choose to donate whole blood or double red cells, the complete process (including check-in and refreshments) takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour, with the donation itself lasting 15-35 minutes.
