North Lamar Donor Center

Join us at the North Lamar Donor Center or the Austin Municipal Court to donate whole blood and make a significant impact in your community. Whole blood donations involve giving a pint of blood, which is then separated into essential components—red cells, plasma, and platelets—to be sent to local hospitals for patients in need. We require approximately 200 donors each day to meet local demand. The donation process takes about 45 minutes to an hour from check-in to refreshments, with the actual blood donation lasting only 15-35 minutes, depending on whether you are donating whole blood or double red cells.
