Bluegrass & Olde Tyme Afternoon Jam at Polecat Tavern

Join us for the Bluegrass & Olde Tyme Afternoon Jam at Polecat Tavern, held every second Thursday of the month from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. This welcoming jam invites musicians of all skill levels, especially beginners, to gather and play bluegrass, old-time, and Americana music. Participants will take turns calling tunes and leading the group through the songs, gradually progressing to more intermediate pieces. Enjoy a smoke-free environment while indulging in happy hour drink prices until 5 PM. Although there’s no fee to join, contributions for the tip jar and purchases of beer, wine, and sodas are encouraged. Following the jam, stay for the plugged-in Open Mic starting at 6 PM. Located at 260 W Winnie Lane in Carson City, NV, Polecat Tavern features a full bar, gaming options, and allows food delivery or carry-in.
