Folk, Afro-Caribbean, and jazz artist Fabiola Méndez is an Emmy-nominated composer, singer, and cuatrista whose work explores Puerto Rican culture, identity, and heritage through the cuatro. She blends tradition and innovation while amplifying Afro-Latinx stories and community narratives through her music. Local Opener: The Minor Four
Panoramic and vibey: The Minor Four is an instrumental quartet from Virginia led by guitarist Mike Lee. Blending elements of Americana, Jazz, Spaghetti Western, Surf, and Noir, The Minor Four evokes an anachronistic mid-century film soundtrack. Bassist Todd Rohrer, drummer Matt Leech, and Pedal Steelist Jason Summer round out the group with guests possible and likely.
