On My Own Storytime

**On My Own Storytime** is an independent storytime event designed for children ages 3–5, where kids engage in fun activities on their own while their caregivers wait just outside. During this session, participants enjoy stories, songs, and simple activities that help build confidence, facilitate the experience of being apart from caregivers, and develop essential early classroom skills such as listening and taking turns. Caregivers are encouraged to discuss the event beforehand so their children feel prepared for this exciting step. Due to limited space, it is recommended to visit the Children's Desk to pick up a name tag and secure a spot, available 30 minutes prior to the program.
