North Canton to Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday with Community-Wide July 4 Celebration
North Canton, Ohio — The City of North Canton is proud to announce a community-wide celebration of America’s 250th birthday (America250) on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4, 2026, marking a historic milestone in our nation’s story with a variety of patriotic festivities.
North Canton’s America250 celebration will bring residents, families, and visitors together to honor the ideals that have shaped the United States for 250 years: freedom, democracy, and community. Planned activities will highlight North Canton’s strong civic pride and small-town spirit, with events designed for all ages to enjoy.
Plans include a Friday night movie, a YMCA race, the Jaycees’ July 4th Parade, a Community Picnic, and an evening festival. The celebration will culminate in a spectacular drone show, lighting up the night sky in honor of this once-in-a-lifetime anniversary.
