His latest project, Otherlands: A Global Music Exploration, took Casey and his family on a year-long journey across Spain, Ireland, Scotland, India, Japan, Finland, Italy, Slovakia, and Czechia, documenting musical collaborations with artists around the globe. The project has become an acclaimed collection of recordings, films, photography, and stories celebrating the universal language of music. Beyond the stage, Casey is an internationally respected educator, founder of the Blue Ridge Fiddle Camp, former Program Director at Berklee College of Music's Valencia campus, and creator of The Chop Notation Project, a groundbreaking resource for contemporary bowed string techniques.
