Spend a summer evening grooving to jazz on the Hiler Family Terrace at the Raclin Murphy Museum. Bring a blanket or lawn chair (limited seating will be available on the Terrace) , relax under the sun, and let the music move you in this one-of-a-kind setting. Ivan’s Cafe will have tasty food and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase until 6:00 p.m. Oh Mamma’s will be selling scrumptious small plates perfect for snacking, and Perry Vine will be pouring delicious meads and wines for purchase by the glass or bottle. Chicago Street Orchestra is the premier Latin jazz ensemble of Chicago, performing salsa, cumbia, samba, Afro-beat, and many more styles! The CSO is comprised of veterans of the Midwest music scene Gordon Walters, Danjuma Gaskin, Lee Kelly, Jamal Damien, and Zach Nicholas. Whether you're looking to dance or just listen, CSO brings unmatched energy and versatility to diverse genres for audiences around the world. Museum galleries will be open so you can explore the work of art paired with the performance. Series curated by Stephen and Mary Merriman of Merrimans’ Playhouse. Parking is available in the Visitor Lot immediately behind the Museum, north of the Sculpture Park, for free after 4:30 p.m. Parking can also be found along Angela Blvd. If traveling via South Bend Transpo, take the No.7 bus and use the stop at Notre Dame Ave. and Angela Blvd.
