3rd-4th Grade Book Club: Green Jolene and the Backyard Bees

Jolene Greenfield is digging up her front yard. Why? Well, she got the idea when she learned something very bees are dying! There is so much she didn't know about bees! Like how they help plants grow. And as land is developed, the areas where bees find pollen is being destroyed. When Jolene's mom stops her from digging up the front yard for a garden to attract bees, Jolene must come up with a new plan to help them. But it's a pretty big problem. Is this one even Green Jolene can't solve? It's a good thing she has neighbors and friends to help.
