Details:
Join us for the Dino Dig event, where children aged 0-11 can experience a mock archaeological dig for dinosaur "bones." Participants will handle fossils from various geological periods and learn about how fossils are formed, all presented by the Virginia Museum of Natural History. This hands-on experience will take place on June 25 at Buchanan (10:30am-11:30am) and Fincastle (2pm-3pm), and on June 26 at Eagle Rock (10:30am-11:30am) and Blue Ridge (2pm-3pm). Registration is required due to a limited class size of 15 participants. Secure your spot by registering online at botetourtva.libcal.com/ or by calling 540-928-2900. Don't miss this exciting opportunity to think like a paleontologist!
