OhioGuidestone’s Promise Run is back with a new date for 2024! Saturday, September 14, 2024. We hope you will join us this year in taking steps for a healthier tomorrow.
Join us for a 1 Mile Walk, 5k Run/Walk or 10k Run at Wallace Lake in Berea.
WHY WE RUN
We run for those who are forging new life paths with the help of OhioGuidestone. We run because we are committed to mental health and well-being. We run because our programs are the keys to surviving — to thriving. We run because every success story began with a first step.
WHERE WE RUN
Join us in a 5k, 10k, or 1-mile run/walk to benefit the individuals OhioGuidestone serves. Each registered participant will receive a run bag with a Promise Run t-shirt and a complimentary smoothie following the race. Stick around for some “Post-Run Fun” – re-energize with delicious food from local food trucks, enjoy family-friendly jams and congratulate the top performers in the Awards presentation. Get a group together, bring the whole family (pets included!), or come solo – we can’t wait to see you once again at Wallace Lake!
Virtual Run/Walk
If you are unable to join us on Saturday, September 14th in Berea, you can still participate virtually and support a great cause! Run or walk at home on your own time (you don’t even have to walk/run on the same day!), or with an organized group in your neighborhood. If you are able to organize a group run/walk in your locality, please contact Molly Martens at molly.martens@ohioguidestone.org so that we can publicize your group’s meeting place for more potential participants to join you. Please note that you will not receive a bib for signing up for a virtual run/walk, but your run bag with your Promise Run t-shirt may be available for pick-up at one of our regional offices (please check back for more information) or can be shipped to you for an additional cost.

The 10k race starts at 8:30a.m., and the 5k and 1-mile run/walk start at 9:00 a.m. Our registration and check-in table opens at 7:30 a.m.
