The team will take the field as the Hartford School Boys, wearing special uniforms and caps in homage to Johnny Schoolboy Taylor, the most famous Negro League baseball player from Connecticut. It's also Teacher Appreciation Day! Help us celebrate our hard-working teachers in Connecticut. Teachers: Click "Buy Special Ticket" for your discount! The Yard Goats host the Red Sox affiliate, with gates opening at 6:00pm.
