Join us for our annual public reading of the Declaration of Independence.
Taking place on the front steps of Trumbull Town Hall, this special event will feature citizen volunteers reading the Declaration, along with musical performances and patriotic presentations.
Trumbull Parks & Recreation is proud to make this possible in collaboration with We the People, the Trumbull Historical Society, Trumbull Scouts, the Town of Trumbull, Trumbull Public Library and our many dedicated volunteers.
We are also pleased to highlight a special exhibit focused on Trumbull’s Revolutionary War history, meticulously curated and led by Chief Park Ranger, Steve Chapman who is also the Vice President, Historian, and Chaplain for the Colonel Wadsworth Branch #7 of the Connecticut Sons of the American Revolution.
