Maker Meet-Up for Teens

Join us in our Maker lab on Wednesdays to create! We will experiment with the Glowforge Laser cutter, sublimation printer, silhouette cutter, metal stamping, wood burning, and online graphic design software. Here's our summer line-up:June 24-Create a custom cooling towel. July 1-Laser cut puzzle design. July 8-Design magnets for your locker and more. July 15-Use metal stamping and fun beads to create a custom bandana-style bag charm. July 22-Express yourself! Create your own customized design and sublimate it onto a t-shirt. July 29-Game on! Let your imagination run wild and laser-cut tic-tac-toe game pieces that represent your interests. August 5- It's all about self-expression! DIY stickers-Use graphic design software and the silhouette cutter to make professional-looking stickers. August 12 - It's time for an old-school maker tool! We are pulling out the wood-burning tools to try our hand at pyrography. Open to grades 6-12. Registration required for each session. Registration for the first 4 sessions goes live Saturday, June 13, at 9:00 am. Registration for the last 4 sessions goes live Saturday, June 27, at 9:00 am.*Please note, this is a popular program that generally has a wait list. You must give adequate notice if you are canceling your registration. Failure to cancel in advance will result in future Maker registrations being canceled or moved to the wait list.
