FOPOS Land Stewardship Volunteer Session // Wednesday, July 22nd

Join Friends of Princeton Open Space (FOPOS) for a community Land Stewardship Volunteer Session on Wednesday, July 22nd, from 3 PM to 5 PM at the Billy Johnson Mountain Lakes Nature Preserve in Princeton, NJ. Volunteers will assist with critical tasks in forest and riparian restoration, including invasive species removal, native planting, and installing protective cages around native plants. The event begins with a brief presentation on the day's work, followed by hands-on activities aimed at restoring degraded habitats. Participants will gather at the Mountain Lakes House parking lot, accessible via a specific driveway marked by black mailboxes along Mountain Avenue. Please complete the required event waiver before attending. FOPOS has been dedicated to preserving natural spaces since 1969, and your participation helps advance important restoration projects.
