The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Office in Montgomery County will host a hands-on teacher field day on July 21 in Conroe. The cost of the class is $20 which includes the Project Learning Tree printed curriculum. Online registration is available, and the deadline to register is July 15. A light meal will be provided and participants can earn three clock hours. The class for teachers of grades K-8 is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., while the class for early childhood teachers is from 4-7 p.m. Participants will discover fun ways to implement natural resources based curriculum and hands-on learning in their classrooms. There will be a preview of Project WILD curriculum and other natural resource based activities.
