The Lakeville Public Library serves as a community center, dedicated to providing free educational, informational, cultural, and recreational services to all residents. Its current facility, opened in 2005, is a modern building featuring a dedicated children's room, a Young Adult lounge, private study rooms, and a community meeting room. The library actively updates its collections to meet community needs and offers a range of digital resources, including eAudiobooks, eBooks, streaming movies, language instruction, and research databases. The library also hosts various programs and events for all ages, such as story times, LEGO challenges, and genealogy visits.
