A spin on traditional debate, Ethics Bowl explores real-world issues about rights, respect, and relationships through competitive collaboration. Using ethical case studies written by middle and high school students, students will work together to craft compelling arguments and engage in respectful dialogue.
Taught by Friends Academy middle school teacher Dr. Erik Kenyon, an ethics and philosophy expert who helped establish the annual New England Middle School Ethics Bowl at Harvard University (www.friendsacademy1810.org/2025-new-england-middle-school-ethics-bowl/).
Registration is open to curious middle school-aged kids entering Grades 6-8 in fall 2026. Half-day (9am-12pm) schedule with afternoons (12-3pm) and Surround Care (8-9am + 3-4pm) also available.
