Adaptive Art (Special Needs Friendly)

Join Union City Library and Art Buds for adaptive art activities designed to be accessible for children with disabilities. Try different art tools and self-paced activities designed to spark creativity and joy! Space is limited, please register to reserve your spot. A caregiver must be present with each child. If you have any accommodation requests, please contact Polina at prubanova@aclibrary.org. Meet Art Buds Art Buds is a student-led teen initiative. They aim to brighten the lives of children facing medical challenges by creating art kits and hosting workshops to encourage creativity and provide comfort. Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests! An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) days in advance.
