Join Alameda County Vector Control to learn more about the urban wildlife who explore our backyards, including: unique habitats behaviors and challenges Learn about the pros and cons of wildlife living around our homes, like: raccoons skunk and opossums Vector Control staff will show how they keep you and wildlife safe, sharing exciting videos and stories from their work. You’ll get the chance to try your hand at being a Vector Control Biologist and help solve cases from their work! Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests! An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) days in advance.
