Details:
Join Metro Parks for the festive Red, White, and Boom! event at Scioto Audubon Metro Park on July 3rd, starting at 6:30 AM and concluding after the fireworks display. Free parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, but be mindful that spots cannot be saved. Once parking capacity is reached, additional vehicles will be directed to park outside the premises. Attendees can secure a viewing area for their families starting at noon, with restrictions on size and location.
Enjoy a variety of kids' activities from 4 PM to 8 PM, and note that the water tower observation decks will close at 9 PM. The boat ramp opens at 8 AM for those wishing to view the fireworks from small watercraft on the Scioto River. Pets are welcome but must remain leashed, except in designated dog park areas. The Greenway Trails will also be accessible.
Metro Parks Rangers and Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputies will be on-site for security and assistance. Please remember that alcohol, drones, and personal fireworks are not allowed within the park. For any inquiries or concerns during the event, contact the rangers at 614-620-1865. For further information about the park, click here or reach out via email at info@metroparks.net or call 614-895-6249.
