Details:
Cyanotypes are photographic prints made by exposing light-sensitive paper to sunlight to "take a picture." Patrons will be able to create a design of their own using greenery stencils and set their paper under the sun to make the final image. Next, the paper will be rinsed under water, which stops the exposure process and locks the image onto the paper. They cyanotype is complete! All ages welcome but best suited for elementary students and older. Patrons need to be able to lay out greenery in a design or have an adult assist them. Online registration required.
