The Grimes County Amateur Radio Group is committed to providing a platform for individuals to engage in the ham radio and GMRS hobby, while also serving the community's communication needs during emergencies and events. Founded in 2016, the club serves Grimes County and the greater Brazos Valley region through essential communications support and community involvement. Monthly meetings are held via Google Meet and in person on the first Saturday at 10:00 a.m.; meetings are currently by invitation only. Through our partnership with Grimes County ARES, we have enhanced our ability to respond to emergencies. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
