Details:
This previously canceled event is back on due to the reopening of the Greenwich Library's lower level.
Brendan Fraser leads this soulful film with great empathy portraying Philip, a down-on-his-luck actor living in Tokyo. Struggling to find purpose, he ends up working for a “rental family” agency, playing stand-in roles for strangers. The film brings both laughter and serious heart to its story as Philip becomes immersed in his clients’ lives, raising questions about his work’s moral complexities even as he relearns the beauty of human connection. PG-13. English and Japanese with English subtitles. Check out a trailer here!
