Details:
Join us for "Walk A Mile In My News," a unique opportunity for individuals with differing political views to explore how their media sources shape their perceptions. This local event in Utah encourages Red/Blue pairs to delve into their news contrasts, fostering understanding and dialogue. Additionally, participate in the Clackamas County Braver Angels June Meeting, designed to enhance skills for constructive civic conversations. Led by Julie Gefroh from SAGE, this hands-on workshop will focus on emotional listening, effective communication, and tools for engaging in challenging discussions. Together, these events aim to promote dialogue, rebuild trust, and address America’s polarization. For questions, contact Carrie Akston at carriea@braverangels.org. Your support through donations to Braver Angels, a tax-deductible 501(c)(3) non-profit, helps us offer more workshops and initiatives that unite communities. Media representatives can request attendance approval at press@braverangels.org.
See you there!
