The Parker Memorial Library's mission is to fulfill the lifelong learning and recreational needs of the Dracut community. It achieves this by providing, organizing, and storing a diverse collection of books, media, databases, and other resources. The library offers opportunities for individuals to acquire new information, ideas, and skills through its collections and programming. Furthermore, it aims to connect community members through organized events and informal interactions. The library strives to be a responsive, sustainable, and innovative resource, aspiring to be the primary point of contact for community questions and needs, even those extending beyond traditional library services. It actively fosters strong partnerships with other town departments, committees, and groups, and endeavors to be an inspiring and supportive environment for its staff. The library offers a wide range of services including borrowing, digital collections, e-resources, and various other services such as genealogy and local history resources, meeting rooms, and printing facilities. It also hosts numerous programs for all ages, from infants to older children, focusing on early literacy, reading, crafts, and special events.
