Export: Opus Jazz Delgado — World Premiere Work Miami City Ballet returns to Hayes Hall, joining the Naples Philharmonic to showcase its distinctive blend of expressive depth and sharp musicality in a program that moves fluidly from neoclassical vitality to contemporary energy. The evening opens with George Balanchine’s Allegro Brillante, set to Tchaikovsky’s Third Piano Concerto, followed by the urban cool of Jerome Robbins’ swaggering “ballet in sneakers,” N. Y. Export: Opus Jazz. A world premiere by former Miami City Ballet principal dancer and Tony Award winner Patricia Delgado brings the performance to a close.
