Theatre of Dare, founded in 1991 by Ruth Ambrosius and Pat Clayton alongside the Outer Banks Forum, emerged from a vibrant meeting that birthed a creative legacy. Initially named "Players of Truth and Dare," the theatre staged its first production, *California Suite*, in March 1992, receiving rave reviews. After a nomadic period following the closure of its original venue in 2017, TOD established a permanent home in Kitty Hawk in 2022. Celebrating decades of diverse performances, TOD eagerly invites new talent and community involvement to keep the spirit of the arts alive. Join us!
