In this 1-hour virtual show and tell, Subject Collections Specialist Patrick Hastings from the Rare Books and Special Collections will showcase unique items from the Library of Congress that have ties to Oklahoma.
Come down to your public library to see live- streamed first editions of “Grapes of Wrath” and “Where the Red Fern Grows”, items from Ralph Ellison’s library, the Aitken Bible of the Revolution as well as a Cherokee language Bible, among other treasures.
We will allow time for a Question and Answer segment if you are curious about the Rare Book Division’s events, initiatives, and collections.
