From Oct. 16 through Nov. 6, the gallery will host Connections and Harmony: Contemporary Lakota-Iroquois and Dine’ Perspectives, featuring artists Jim Yellowhawk of South Dakota and Elmer Yazzie of New Mexico. An opening reception will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Oc. 16 and a dance performance featuring Mr. Yellowhawk will be held on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. in the Caldwell Hall Thompson Theatre. In addition, a lecture and artist demonstration featuring Mr. Yazzie will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 30.
