Dickinson Fire Cadets

The Dickinson Fire Cadets is a hands-on youth program created in collaboration with the Dickinson Fire Department and Dickinson Parks & Recreation, aimed at students entering grades 6–8. This engaging class introduces participants to essential fire service skills through physical training and team-oriented activities. Students will learn techniques such as water flowing and hose handling, using fire extinguishers and water cans, CPR, radio communications, and basic ropes and knots. The program emphasizes building fitness, confidence, and teamwork while instilling vital safety and emergency response knowledge.
