Unearth a Story: Uncovering New Perspectives with Midwestern Archaeology (Ages 13+)

Celebrate our Summer Reading Program theme with a presentation from a local archaeologist! Dr. Kevin Nolan will share with us what its like to work in modern archaeology, including his experiences with the Applied Anthropology Laboratories (AAL) at Ball State University. He will also talk about the AALs latest traveling exhibit, St. Clairs Defeat Revisited, which uses new data and perspectives to revisit the story of a historical battle. Dr. Nolan (Ph. D., RPA) is the Director and Senior Archaeologist at the AAL, which is a BSU Institute that conducts ground-breaking research while also providing hands-on learning for students.
