White Mountains NEMBA (New England Mountain Bike Association) is a chapter dedicated to maintaining over 100 miles of mountain biking and multi-use trails in the Mount Washington Valley of New Hampshire. Established in 2000, the organization is committed to creating and maintaining sustainable trails, preserving access for riders, and guiding the future of mountain biking in the region. As a community of mountain bikers, they focus on creating epic riding experiences, preserving open space, and fostering a strong local mountain biking community. Their activities include trail building and maintenance, youth programs, winter fat bike grooming, and advocacy, often in collaboration with local stakeholders, municipalities, and federal agencies. The chapter is a volunteer-driven organization that relies on community support, donations, grants, and fundraisers to operate and achieve its mission.
