Tin Mountain Conservation Center is a nonprofit environmental education organization dedicated to fostering an appreciation of the natural world among children, adults, and families. Their mission is to promote understanding and responsible stewardship of natural resources through a variety of hands-on programs. These programs include in-school and after-school environmental education for students, summer and winter camps for ages 4-16, year-round nature programs, Eco-Forums, Environmental Book Groups, and trivia nights. Tin Mountain also engages in conservation research, with projects focusing on avian studies, sustainable forestry, and habitat restoration. The center offers opportunities for outdoor exploration through its Nature Learning Center, trails at its Albany and Jackson campuses, and guided hikes and canoe trips. They also host events such as the First Season Benefit Dinner and Auction and the Mt. Washington Auto Road Bicycle Hillclimb.
