The Clements Brothers : Twin Harmony from New England
Identical twins George and Charles Clements have been making music together since they could hold instruments—George on guitar, Charles on upright bass. Growing up in rural New England, they soaked up folk, bluegrass, and Celtic sounds, blending them into a tight, rootsy style that’s equal parts driving and heartfelt. George attended Berklee College of Music and Charles attended both the New England Conservatory and earned a master’s at Manhattan School of Music.
After years with the acclaimed Lonely Heartstring Band (Rounder Records), the brothers struck out on their own. Their debut album, Backroads & Broken Strings, earned raves for its raw acoustic power—soaring harmonies, foot-stomping rhythms, and well-crafted lyrics. Critics call it “authentic without trying too hard,” and fans keep showing up for the chemistry only twins can pull off.
George’s guitar work is nimble and melodic; Charles anchors everything with steady, warm bass lines. Together, they trade leads, swap verses, and build songs that stick—whether it’s a lonesome ballad or a barn-burner. They’ve toured coast to coast, played festivals like Grey Fox and Falcon Ridge, and opened for legends like Alison Krauss.
Now they’re bringing that live magic back to Jackson, NH on Thursday August 6th.Weather permiting this show will be on the venues outdoor stage.

Jonathan Sarty will open the show with a musical performance. Jonathan Sarty is a native of New England and founder of the White Mountain Boys, the Jonathan Sarty Band, and the popular Cold River Radio Show (hosted by Jonathan and his renowned Cold River Radio Band). He is an accomplished producer, promoter, songwriter, recording artist, and performer with an extensive musical repertoire covering a variety of genres. Playing to crowds adeptly has made Jonathan Sarty a New England commodity, performing hundreds of shows a year regionally and throughout his homeland of New England.
