The Ski Vacation Raffle is back for another year: your chance to win a one-week stay for four in Hannes Schneider’s Austrian hometown of St. Anton am Arlberg!
Christoph and Hannah Schneider, owners of the Schneider Hof Hotel Garni, have generously donated a self-catered apartment for April 6–13, 2027 again.
Weekly ski passes for four to the entire Arlberg Region complete this incredible prize package.
St. Anton am Arlberg is one of Europe’s premier ski destinations, with terrain reaching up to 9,222 ft and a vertical drop of almost 5,000 ft. It offers world-class skiing across a dynamic mix of more than 185 miles of groomed trails and legendary off-trail/backcountry terrain with roughly 150 miles of powder runs, served by 85 lifts, gondolas and trams, making it one of the largest and most varied ski areas in the Alps and perfect for everyone from intermediate to advanced skiers.
The Schneider Hof was the home of Austrian ski pioneer Hannes Schneider, known as the Father of Modern Skiing. Schneider came to North Conway in 1939 and helped develop Cranmore Mountain and the Mount Washington Valley into a major ski destination. He became world-famous for developing the Arlberg technique of downhill ski instruction.
Raffle tickets are $100 each, six for $500, or 14 for $1,000; the prize package is valued at over $11,000.
Get your ticket online now! Or call us at (603) 730-5044, or buy one (or two!) at the Museum branches in North Conway and Franconia.
The drawing will take place in December 2026.
All proceeds benefit the Museum and its educational programs, including the popular fourth-grade ski history program, “In Martha’s Memory."
