Teen Creative Writing Workshop with Billy Corgan and Gayle Brandeis

We had such a fabulous response to our Teen Poetry Workshop with Billy Corgan and Gayle Brandeis last month, we're offering a second, more hands-on and even cozier creative writing workshop! This class will be limited to 10 participants, and requires a writing sample of one poem or 100-250 words of prose. Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins needs no introduction, but you may not know he's a gifted poet and prose writer as well as a rock icon! We're so grateful for our collaboration with this legendary writer/musician.
You may know Gayle Brandeis is co-owner of Secret World Books, but you may not know she's an award winning writer and teacher of creative writing. Her 10th book (and first short story collection) will be published in February, 2027, and her work has appeared in places like The New York Times and The Washington Post and received honors such as The PEN/Bellwether Prize and a Columbia Journal Nonfiction Award. She has taught in both academic and community based writing programs around the world.
