Create Your Own Character: Youth Drawing

Join us for a summer of creativity with two engaging courses perfect for young artists and writers aged 8-12! In "Create Your Own Character: Youth Drawing," instructor Jason Correia will guide students through a 4-week journey where they'll learn essential drawing techniques to design their own character, explore expressions, poses, and storytelling, and build a rich world around their creation. Classes are held weekly on Wednesdays from 1-2:30 pm, from July 8-29, in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at 111 E. Broadway, Mount Pleasant, MI.

Additionally, students can participate in "Write a Great Adventure!" with instructor Tanya Ehrsam, also meeting on Wednesdays from 1-2:30 pm, over 3 weeks from July 15-29. This course encourages youngsters to craft their own exciting stories using prompts or their unique ideas, with personalized support to ensure success in their writing endeavors.

Both courses require no active membership for registration, although members do receive a 15% discount on classes. Join us to develop your creative skills this summer!
