Details:
Join the Nerf Modification Club for the 2025-2026 school year and immerse yourself in the thrilling world of engineering design through hands-on Nerf blaster creations! Each month, participants aged 9 and older will delve into the science and mechanics of Nerf technology, completing two guided projects: a spring modification with the Nerf HotShock and an electronic mod, with all blasters provided. Students will also have the opportunity to customize their own creations and design parts using CAD software.
This club seamlessly integrates STEM learning with practical engineering concepts, covering important topics such as energy transfer, circuitry, and rapid prototyping, while enhancing problem-solving and design-thinking skills. Participants will engage in Nerf scrimmages in a safe and structured environment, with all safety gear provided. Adherence to club rules is mandatory.
Get ready to design, build, test, and battle as you engineer your ultimate blaster and uncover the science behind the excitement! Meetings occur on the 4th Monday of every month from 5 to 6:30 p.m. for a fee of $50 per year. Register online at bit.ly/bcm-nerfclub25.
